There’re two different attitudes toward hand shaking, pro and con.
Some celebrities like Theodore Roosevelt and Donald Trump don’t like
handshake as they thought it’s not hygienic. But in certain occasions, you
have to shake hands with other people otherwise the refusal is an outright
insult. Concerning that, handshaking cannot be substituted. But on the
receiving part, many people deem shaking hands with celebrities as a
souvenir and honor. However, it is said that a political handshake enables
the receiving part to share the magic (good and bad) of those pig potatoes.
Concerning this, those who don’t like handshaking should be grateful.
